32 Network Rendering the log file (Log To File). Each can be either enabled or disabled. For example, you may want to show more detailed information in the Manager window and keep basic information in the log file. For a detailed description of log type messages, see Backburner Manager Window. Note: The Log Setting options for the Backburner Manager are the same as the Log Setting options for the Backburner Server. Log To Screen Group The Log To Screen options determine which message types are displayed in the Manager window. Enable the message type you want to be displayed. Error, Warning, and Info message types are enabled by default. Buffer Limit-Specifies the maximum size of the buffer holding the messages. Clear Log-Clears the buffer holding the messages in the Manager window. Log To File Group The Log To File options determine which message types are saved in a log file. These are the same messages that are displayed in the Manager window. Enable the message type you want to be saved to a log file. Error, Warning, and Info message types are enabled by default. When messages are enabled, a backburner.log file is created.This file is located in the Autodesk\Backburner\Network folder. The information logged in the file depends on the Log Settings in the Manager Logging Properties. Note: The Network folder is created once network rendering is started. Clear Log File-Deletes the associated backburner.log file. Warning: Log files are cleared only when you click the Clear Log File button. When categories are enabled in either or both log files, the files will continue to grow in size each time you render. View Menu The View menu gives you access to the Status Bar, the Font Size, and the Autoscrollbar List options. Status Bar-Toggles the display of the status bar shown at the lower left of the Manager window. The status bar is displayed by default. Font Size-Sets the display font size for the text that appears in the Manager (list) window. Autoscroll List-Toggles automatic scrolling of the information in the Manager window. When enabled, new items in the list cause previous contents to scroll up. When disabled, if the list is long, you must scroll the list manually to see all the entries in the list. This option is enabled by default. Help Menu Use the Help menu to access information on the Backburner Manager application. About Manager-Displays the Backburner Manager version and copyright. Backburner Manager Window The Manager window displays information on the current status of the manager. The information displayed is determined in the Backburner Manager Logging Properties. For more information, see the Manager Logging Properties Edit Menu. There are five log type messages: Info (INF), Warning (WRN), Error (ERR), Debug (DBG), and Debug Extended (DBG).
