32 Network Rendering About Server-Displays the Backburner Server version and copyright. Backburner Server Window The Server window displays information on the current status of the server. The information displayed is determined in the Backburner Server Logging Properties. For more information, see the Server Logging Properties Edit Menu. There are five log type messages: Info (INF), Warning (WRN), Error (ERR), Debug (DBG), and Debug Extended (DBG). Tag INF WRN ERR DBG Color Blue Brown Red Gray Message Information Warning Error Debug INF-Information messages display general information on the current status of the Server. The following are some of the messages: • Starting Backburner Server • Loading plugin: combustion 2008.0 render plugin • Registration to Manager • Job Submitted • Job Received • Frame Complete WRN-Warning messages are non-fatal. The following are some of the messages: • Manager/Servers shutting down • Server(s) flagged as failed • Loading timeout set too low • Rendering timeout set too low ERR-Error messages are fatal errors that halt a server's rendering of a job. The following are some of the messages: • Failed Renderings and Frame Errors (caused by missing footage, invalid output directory, etc.) • Manager not found • Error registering server(s) • Error writing output file • Error starting combustion • Loading timeouts If a server fails, an error message appears in the Server window. This does not mean the failed server cannot continue to participate in the network render. It only means that it failed for the specific assigned task. Note: For a detailed explanation of a server failure, go to the Backburner Queue Monitor. DBG-Debug messages display detailed information on TCP/IP packets and the current state of the Server. Debug extended messages provide a more detailed listing than Debug. When in doubt, enable Debug and Debug Extended. The following are some of the messages: • TCP/IP Packets sent and received • TCP/IP Packet collection • Command line arguments used to launch combustion • Frames Assigned • Log files created and sent • Assignments Threads 810

INF

—Information messages display general

information on the current status of the Server. The

following are some of the messages:
