2 Welcome to Combustion Onion Skin-Uses onion skinning. See "Animating with Onion Skin" in Chapter 12, "Creating Animations''. Onion Skin Settings-Sets onion skinning options. See "Animating with Onion Skin" in Chapter 12, "Creating Animations''. Use Screen Color-Shows the screen color (the color surrounding the image in the viewport) as a background for layers with alpha channels. For example, when you display a layer that has an alpha channel in Layer view, the transparent areas show the black background. When Use Screen Color is enabled, the layer appears on the color of the empty viewport area (for example, gray). Grids, Guides and Ruler-Shows/hides the grids, guides, and ruler, snaps to grid/guides, and locks to guides. Vectorscope-Shows/hides the vectorscope. See Using the Vectorscope. Use OpenGL-To preview an operator in OpenGL view mode. When previewing in OpenGL, the graphics in the viewport are generated by your OpenGL hardware. The OpenGL preview can display most of the composite features in Combustion. For more information, see "Previewing with OpenGL" in Chapter 5, "Compositing''. Show Marquee-Shows or hides selection marquees in the viewport. Show Mesh-Displays the mesh for 3D objects when using Combustion with 3ds Max. Palettes-Shows and hides various interface elements (such as the Timeline or Toolbar). Help Menu The following options are available in the Help menu. Combustion Help-Launches the Online Help system. Combustion on the web-Accesses the Autodesk Support, Training, and Resources web pages. Authorize Combustion-Starts the licensing wizard to register the product. Note: This menu is available only if you have not yet registered your product. About Combustion-Displays information about the installed version of Combustion.
