4 Building Workspaces There are many ways to produce results with operators and footage. To get started, you need to know how to create branches and use footage to build a workspace. File Formats To begin working in Combustion, you typically import video clips, image sequences, or still images. Combustion supports a variety of industry-standard image file formats. This section is intended to provide reference information on the supported file formats in Combustion. For detailed information on beginning your project, see Starting a Workspace. For information on importing files, see Importing Footage. Supported File Formats Combustion supports the following movie and image formats. Many of these file formats can support alpha channels in addition to the color information.
