Exporting to Flash ❚❘❘ Back button You exit Paint and return to the composite. 3. Click the Play button the animation. to play through Exporting to Flash You can create Paint objects and choose to output your objects to .swf file format. Before you create your Paint objects, enable the Flash mode button in the Paint Toolbar to make sure the Paint options you use are supported for output to Adobe Flash file format, then draw a Paint object using the drawing tools in the Toolbar. As you create and animate your Paint object(s), you can preview your work in the Adobe Flash Player view within Combustion before outputting your object(s) to .swf file format. To create Paint objects to output as .swf file format: 1. Create a Paint operator. 2. Select a two-viewport layout. 3. In the Paint Toolbar, enable the Flash Mode. Drawing tools Selection tools and Mask tools Tool options The Toolbar displays the Paint tools supported for output to Adobe Flash .swf file format. 4. Use a drawing tool in the Toolbar to create your Paint object. 5. Right-click the viewport and choose Flash View. The viewport displays the Adobe Flash Player and the Paint object you created. To export to Flash: 1. Select the Paint object in the Workspace panel (F3). 2. In the Paint Controls panel (F8), click the Settings button. 3. In the Settings controls, click Export. The Export Flash File dialog appears. 4. In the Export Flash File dialog, set the file name and make sure Save as type is set to Flash File (*.swf ). 5. Choose the directory where you want to save your output and click Save. The Combustion Paint output is saved as a .swf file and an .html file. For more information on exporting Paint objects to .swf file format, see "Exporting Paint Objects as .swf File Formats" in Chapter 17, "Paint: Drawing Basics''. Working with Audio With the scratch-track audio capabilities of Combustion, you can import audio, link audio to clips, slip audio to sync to your composite, and save audio in workspaces for reference and organization. For more information, see Chapter 30, "Adding Audio''. Note: Supported file formats are QuickTime, QuickTime Streaming, AIFF, Video for Windows (Windows only), WAV, and MP3. 75

Exporting to Flash

You exit Paint and return to the composite.

Click the Play button

to play through

the animation.

Exporting to Flash

You can create Paint objects and choose to output

your objects to

.swf

file format. Before you create

your Paint objects, enable the Flash mode button in

the Paint Toolbar to make sure the Paint options you

use are supported for output to Adobe Flash file

format, then draw a Paint object using the drawing

tools in the Toolbar.

As you create and animate your Paint object(s), you

can preview your work in the Adobe Flash Player

view within

Combustion

before outputting your

object(s) to

.swf

file format.

To create Paint objects to output as .

swf

file format:

Create a Paint operator.

Select a two-viewport layout.

In the Paint Toolbar, enable the Flash Mode.

The Toolbar displays the Paint tools supported

for output to Adobe Flash

.swf

file format.

Use a drawing tool in the Toolbar to create your

Paint object.

Right-click the viewport and choose Flash View.

The viewport displays the Adobe Flash Player and

the Paint object you created.

To export to Flash:

Select the Paint object in the Workspace panel

(

In the Paint Controls panel (

), click the

Settings button.

In the Settings controls, click Export.

The Export Flash File dialog appears.

In the Export Flash File dialog, set the file name

and make sure Save as type is set to Flash File

(*.swf).

Choose the directory where you want to save

your output and click Save.

The

Combustion

Paint output is saved as a

.swf

file and an

.html

file.
