Rendering Your Work ❚❘❘ Global Settings Panel The Global Settings panel is used to set the path of the rendering jobs to public folders and to send email notifications locally or over a network. These options are available in the Combustion Render Queue as well as in the stand-alone Autodesk Combustion Render Queue. Most of this panel is used for Backburner controls. If Backburner is not installed on your system, the Backburner specific options do not appear. These are described in Chapter 32, "Network Rendering''. The e-mail controls appear for all configurations, and can be used for local or network rendering. The public folders apply to both ways to render over a network (Backburner and the Watch Folder feature in the stand-alone Autodesk Combustion Render Queue). Input Folder and Output Folder are used for setting network paths to replace the footage file paths (in the Footage operators) and the output file paths (in the Output Settings panel) while you are network rendering. For more information, see Rendering across Multiple Computers. In the Notification section of the Main controls, you can enable Send Email to set the options for sending e-mail at the end of a render. For details, see Sending E-mail after Rendering. Statistics Panel The Statistics panel displays information about the current rendering process. For more information, see Using the Statistics Panel. Log Panel Use the Log panel to view information about the last queue that you processed. For more information, see Using the Log Panel. Rendering Your Work Your project can be rendered to a QuickTime movie file, a sequence of images, or a single still image. By default, when you open the Autodesk Combustion Render Queue dialog, Combustion creates an operator entry, with one output, for each branch (and each unused Footage operator) in the Global Settings Panel Public folder options E-mail options 757
