33 Advanced Topics Deleting Controllers Delete controllers to remove them from the Capsule Controls. To delete controllers: 1. In the Capsule Controls panel, click Controllers. 2. Select the controller in the Controls tree. 3. Click Delete. The controller is deleted from the capsule, and any links to operator channels are removed. Modifying Operator Channels When you create a capsule, any operator channel settings that existed are preserved in the capsule. Creating controllers allows you to expose selected operator channels for animation. However, channels that are not linked to a controller can still be modified, either via the ChannelPick panel of the Capsule Controls, or in the Timeline. You can also modify the operators contained in the capsule by opening it for editing. For more information, see Editing Capsules. To modify operator channels: 1. To access the channels, do one of the following: • Click Controllers in the Capsule Controls panel. In the Capsule controls, the channels in the capsule are accessible in the ChannelPick panel. Note: The inputs are not listed, as they are not part of the capsule. • View the Timeline. In the Timeline controls, the channels in the capsule are accessible in the Timeline list. 2. Click Internals to expand it. The operators contained in the capsule are listed. 3. Click an operator to expand it. 4. Animate the channels, as required. 842
