Using the Workspace Panel ❚❘❘ Use CTRL-drag SHIFT-drag CTRL-click ALT-click To Increase or decrease the value by more precise increments. Increase or decrease the value by larger increments. Increase or decrease the value by very fine increments. Snap the range indicator to the cursor position. This option is available for fixed range sliders only. To use a calculator: 1. Double-click a field to launch the calculator. The unit and value range (if applicable) appear at the top of the calculator. 2. Once you have calculated the required value, enter the result in the selected field and click OK or press ENTER. Note: MC is Memory Clear, MR is Memory Recall, MS is Memory Save, and M+ is Add to Memory. When a number is in memory, an M appears above MC. Note: To use the calculator with the numeric keypad on your keyboard, make sure you have enabled the NUM LOCK key on your keyboard. To use the calculator for time: Toggle F/TC for frames or timecode. The tag "Frm DF" means Frames using Drop Frame. Time in drop frame Using the Workspace Panel One place to see the process tree is the Workspace panel. Like the Timeline, it shows a hierarchy tree view. To show the Workspace panel: Choose Window | Palettes | Show Workspace. Note: If the Toolbar is displayed, click the Workspace tab or press F3. You use the Workspace panel to select layers, access operator controls, and choose what is displayed in the viewports. More importantly, you can use it to organize the order of operator branches, operators, or layers to control your final output or result. For example, you can drag a Color Corrector operator above a Paint operator within the same branch in the Workspace panel, or you can drag an operator branch above or below another operator branch that is at the same level in the hierarchy in the Workspace panel. 15
