19 Paint: Drawing Selections You can modify the stacking order for Invert Selection objects in the Workspace panel or Timeline list. To invert a selection: 1. Draw any type of selection or any combination of selection objects. 2. Choose Selection | Invert. An Invert Selection object appears in the Workspace panel and Timeline list. The selection is inverted. Note: If the selection is made from a single selection object, then you can click Invert in the selection controls to invert the selection (inverting in this way does not add an object to the Timeline list). Feather Selection Feather a selection so that any effect that you apply to it fades gradually at the edge. For example, if you create several selection shapes, each interacting with the other using the Add/ Subtract/Intersect modes, you can feather the result of these selections with the Selection | Feather object, and get a result which would not be possible by trying to feather the individual objects. You can modify the stacking order for Feather Selection objects in the Workspace panel or Timeline list. You can also adjust the feather pixel value for Feather Selection objects at any time. In the Pixels field, type the width of the feathered border and then click OK. A Feather Selection object appears in the Workspace panel and Timeline list. Note: To feather a selection made from a single selection object, you can simply adjust the Feather field in the selection controls (feathering in this way does not add a feather selection object to the Timeline list). You can modify the stacking order for Invert

Selection objects in the Workspace panel or

Timeline list.

To invert a selection:

Draw any type of selection or any combination of

selection objects.

Feather Selection

Feather a selection so that any effect that you apply to

Feather field in the selection controls is that the latter

affects only one selection object, whereas the Feather
