Creating Selection Objects ❚❘❘ Creating Selection Objects To select part of an image, you surround it with a selection object. To create a selection object: 1. In the Workspace panel, click the layer to which you want to apply a selection. 2. If you are not already in Paint, choose Operators | Paint. 3. In the Toolbar, choose a selection tool. 4. Create the selection in the active viewport. Stacking Selections If you create a new selection on top of an existing selection, the new selection becomes the active selection. In the following stack, Mosaic applies only to the selection under it. Invert applies only to the rectangular selections.
