Using Presets, Creating and Deleting Presets

31 Rendering 4. To specify a default path and filename for the rendered files, set the following options as required. Select Render Folder Automatic Output Names Create New Folder per Workspace To Set the default location for rendered files. Enter a path in the field, or click Render Folder and browse to the appropriate location in the dialog that appears. Automatically generate output names based on the operator name and plus "+" signs to indicate output names. For example, if you have an operator named "Sky" and three outputs, it will create the following files: "Sky", "Sky+" and "Sky++". Create a folder with the same name as the workspace file. The outputs will be saved to this folder. 5. Click OK. The Quick Setup options are applied to all enabled outputs. Using Presets You can save your output settings as presets. Once they are saved, you can quickly apply them to an output without having to select each setting individually. All options on the Output Settings panel are saved in the preset, except for the filename. You can also use presets in conjunction with the Quick Setup options to automate setting up paths and filenames for the rendered files. For more information, see Using Quick Setup. To use a preset: 1. Select an output in the queue. 2. On the Output Settings panel, select a preset from the Preset list. The Video Output and Audio Output settings update to reflect the settings in the preset. Note: The Render Range options and the various settings on the Global Settings panel are not saved with a preset. Creating and Deleting Presets You can create as many presets as you require. You can also create a preset and make it the default. The default preset settings will be used each time you create a new output. To create a preset: 1. In the Output Settings panel, set the Video Output, Audio Output, and Add to edit Bin options as required. 2. Click New. 3. Enter a name in the Enter New Preset Name dialog that appears, then click OK. The current output settings are saved to the new preset name. To delete a preset: 1. To specify a default path and filename for the

rendered files, set the following options as

required.

Click OK.

The Quick Setup options are applied to all

enabled outputs.

Using Presets

You can save your output settings as presets. Once

they are saved, you can quickly apply them to an

output without having to select each setting

individually. All options on the Output Settings

panel are saved in the preset, except for the filename.

You can also use presets in conjunction with the

Quick Setup options to automate setting up paths

and filenames for the rendered files. For more

information, see

To use a preset:

Select an output in the queue.

On the Output Settings panel, select a preset from

the Preset list.

The Video Output and Audio Output settings

update to reflect the settings in the preset.

Note:

The Render Range options and the various

settings on the Global Settings panel are not

saved with a preset.

Creating and Deleting Presets

You can create as many presets as you require. You
