25 Color Warper softness range expands to include the colors that you sampled. CTRL-drag to sample a rectangular area. • Click the Remove Softness picker and drag the picker over areas that are too soft. The softness range shrinks to exclude the values that you sampled. • Adjust softness and tolerance by moving the handles of the tolerance or softness outlines on the hue cube. • Adjust the softness and tolerance in the luma range by dragging the Softness and Tolerance fields, or the red and yellow bars in the luma range. • If the matte appears grainy, drag the Sharpness field to adjust softness and reduce noise. 9. To apply a blur, enable Blur, select a Gaussian or Box blur. then set the Width and Height fields. 10.Continue fine-tuning the matte until you are satisfied. You can select the selective in the Work On box from any panel in the Color Warper to perform advanced color corrections on the range defined by the matte. You can also change the view in the View box. Note: When you switch from the Selective controls to any other panel in the Color Warper, the View automatically changes to Result. Clearing and Deleting Mattes and Color Corrections Use the C and R buttons next to the Work On and View lists to reset a matte or a color correction. C deletes the matte or color correction at the current frame by setting a keyframe. R deletes the matte or color correction for the entire animation curve. Note: If there is no matte or color correction associated with the selective, the C and R buttons are disabled. To delete a matte for the entire animation curve: 1. Select the matte from the Work On list (Sel 1, Sel 2, or Sel 3). 2. Select the R button next to the View list. The matte is deleted. All keyframes and color corrections associated with the matte are also cleared. Note: Keyframes associated with the color correction are not cleared. To delete a matte at the current frame: 1. Select the matte from the Work On list (Sel 1, Sel 2, or Sel 3). 2. Select the C button next to the View list. The matte is deleted at the current frame and a keyframe is set. To delete a color correction for the entire animation curve: 1. Select a matte or the entire image from the Work On list (Master, Sel 1, Sel 2, or Sel 3). 2. Select the R button next to the Work On list. The color correction is deleted and all keyframes are cleared. If you selected a matte (Sel 1, Sel 2, or Sel 3) from the Work On list, the matte is unaffected and its keyframes are not cleared. 668
