Rendering a Single Image ❚❘❘ The preset is deleted and the default preset is automatically selected. Note: If you delete the default preset, the Preset list and settings for the selected output are set to the first preset in the list. This preset automatically becomes the default preset. To make a preset the default: 1. Select the preset from the Preset list. 2. Click Make Default. The selected preset becomes the default. The default preset is indicated by an asterisk (*) next to its name in the Preset list. To render a single image: 1. Choose File | Save Image (CTRL+ALT+S). Note: This option does not appear if the active viewport is set to display the Schematic. The Image Output Options dialog appears. Editing and Renaming Presets Once you create a preset, you can change its settings or name at any time. To edit a preset: 1. Select the preset from the Preset list. 2. Change the output settings as required. 3. Click Save. The changes are saved with the preset. To rename a preset: 1. Select the preset from the Preset list. 2. Click Rename. 3. Enter a name in the Enter New Preset Name dialog that appears, then click OK. The name of the selected preset is changed. Rendering a Single Image In addition to using the Autodesk Combustion Render Queue to render a movie or sequence of frames, you can quickly render the current frame of an operator. The current frame is the frame displayed in the active viewport. 2. Select the required image format from the Format list and use the Options button to set additional options for the selected format. The list is the same as in the Autodesk Combustion Render Queue dialog except the image sequence options do not have "Sequence" appended on the format name. For more information, see Choosing an Image Format. 3. Select a frame size from the list, or select Custom and enter the size in the Width and Height fields. For more information, see Choosing a Frame Size. 4. Select a bit depth from the Depth list. Only a few formats support higher bit depth. The Original Depth shows the bit depth of the output's operator. For more details, see "Setting Bit Depth of Rendered Images" in Chapter 22, "Working with Bit Depth''. 773

The preset is deleted and the default preset is

automatically selected.

Note:

Editing and Renaming Presets

Once you create a preset, you can change its settings

or name at any time.

To edit a preset:

Select the preset from the Preset list.

Change the output settings as required.

Click Save.

Select the preset from the Preset list.

Click Rename.

Enter a name in the Enter New Preset Name

dialog that appears, then click OK.

The name of the selected preset is changed.

Rendering a Single Image

In addition to using the

Autodesk

Combustion

Render Queue

to render a movie or sequence of

frames, you can quickly render the current frame of

an operator. The current frame is the frame

displayed in the active viewport.

To render a single image:

Choose File | Save Image (

This option does not appear if the active

viewport is set to display the Schematic.

The Image Output Options dialog appears.

Select the required image format from the
