Gradient Wipe Use Gradient Wipe to gradually reveal or hide a layer based on the values of pixels in a separate channel, in the same or a different layer. Softness-Creates a soft edge between transparent and opaque areas creating a smoother effect. Layer-Is the source operator-the operator used to determine the transparency of the current layer. In the previous example, the source layer is the footage of the talent's profile. Channel-Determines which information in the source layer is used for the gradient wipe. Usually, you create a grayscale image or gradient to use as a source for this kind of wipe.
