For example, the "FilmLook" Capsule operator shown below is made up of three operators: Glow, Add Grain, and Discreet Color Corrector. Creating Capsules ❚❘❘ To create a capsule: 1. Create the process tree that you require. Setup your operators, and adjust their settings as required. Note: You also can adjust the operator settings later from within the Capsule. In the example above, a sepia-toned film look was created using Glow, Grain, and Discreet Color Corrector operators. 2. In the Schematic view, select all of the nodes that you want to include in the capsule. Note: Connection nodes belong to their parent operator node. Therefore, you cannot include connection nodes in a Capsule without including its parent node. When you select a operator node, all of its connection nodes are included with it (even if not selected). 3. Right-click and choose Encapsulate. The Capsule node appears in the Schematic view. In the example below, the Glow, Discreet Color Corrector, and Add Grain operators were used to create the capsule. 4. Add inputs, as required. See Adding Inputs. 5. Define controllers for the capsule. See Creating Controllers. 6. Modify operator channels, if required. See Modifying Operator Channels. 7. Add instructions on how the capsule should be used. See Adding Capsule Notes. 8. Save the capsule. See Saving Capsules. Adding Inputs When you first create a capsule, it contains whatever inputs were included at the time. However, you can add more inputs, up to a maximum of fourteen, and link them to operators in the processing pipeline. For example, you can add a secondary input for the Clone Source in a Paint operator node. The names of existing input nodes by default are the same as the operators that were connected to them when the capsule was created. You can rename them, if necessary, and create detailed notes that provide guidance to other users about the capsule's setup and intended use. To add an input: 1. For example, the “FilmLook” Capsule operator

To create a capsule:

Create the process tree that you require. Setup

your operators, and adjust their settings as

required.

Note:

You also can adjust the operator settings

later from within the Capsule.
