Using Context Menus ❚❘❘ To access a context menu: Right-click an item. Following are some of the context menu options for the Workspace panel and Timeline. Context menu for the empty portion of the Workspace panel or Timeline. Context menu for a Composite operator in the Workspace panel or Timeline. Most of these options are also available in the menus at the top of the screen, with the following exceptions: • Rename lets you rename an object. (You can also do a slow double click to display the name in an editable field, and then enter a new name.) • Show in Viewport displays the selected operator in the viewport (makes it the current operator). Note: Context menus specific to the Timeline provide quick access to commands for modifying channels and keyframes. See "Editing Keyframes with the Context Menu" in Chapter 12, "Creating Animations'' and "Creating Expressions" in Chapter 13, "Creating Expressions''. The Timeline has an additional context menu for animating channels. Depending on the channel, the following context menu is the basic context menu for most channels.
