3. To set the animation behavior for frames before the first keyframe, select an extrapolation from the Extrapolation Before list. Extrapolation After list Math Operations Use the Math Operations dialog to perform common mathematical transformations on one or more keyframes, or on an entire channel. Some common transforms include: Averaging, Flipping, Reversing, and so on. To apply a math operation to a channel: 1. In the Timeline, select the keyframes in a channel to which you want to apply the math operation. 2. Click Math Operations. The Math Operations dialog appears. 3. Click a button to apply the corresponding operation. Click Negate Reverse Average Simplify Scale Remove Jitter To Negate (inverse) the selected keyframes (57 becomes -57, -125 becomes +125, etc.). Negate only works on channels that can have negative and positive values. For example, you cannot negate the Opacity channel since there is no such thing as negative opacity. Move keyframes so that they animate backwards. Apply a weighted average to the selected channel or group of keyframes. When you select Average, an Over field appears. Enter the divisor for the average operation in this field. Reduce the number of points to the lowest possible number while preserving the original shape of the curve. Scale the selected keyframes or channel. You can scale the horizontal axis and the vertical axis separately. When you click this button, the H and V fields appear.
