7. Add three control points across the top horizontal edge. Viewing Paint Object Outlines ❚❘❘ 13.Position the square's control points so that they form the shape of a star. 8. Add one control point to the middle of each vertical edge. 9. Add one control point to the middle of the bottom side. The square should look like this: 10.Enable the Animate button (A) When enabled, the Animate button is red. 11.Go to the last frame of the animation. If you see the object in the viewport, proceed to step 13. If you no longer see the object in the viewport, you need to extend the object's duration to the end of the clip. Proceed to the next step. 12.In the Timeline, select the Rectangle object, then press the . (period) key to extend the object's duration throughout the length of the animation. 14.Scrub through the animation. You can see the square transform to a star. Viewing Paint Object Outlines When working with paint objects, you can choose to display only the wireframe of the object. In the Paint operator, this allows you to see through solid paint objects, or quickly check an animation in wireframe only. To view only the paint object outlines: 1. Make sure the current operator is a Paint operator. 2. Do one of the following: • Choose Window | Outlines Only. • Right-click the viewport and choose Outlines Only. The paint objects are displayed as outlines only. 467
