Aligning and Distributing Text Objects ❚❘❘ Aligning and Distributing Text Objects Combustion offers the following text object alignment features: • Align (justify) text objects horizontally or vertically to each other. • Distribute text objects evenly. You can distribute or align to left, center, or right (for Horizontal) or top, center, or bottom (for Vertical). To align to the image, select one text object only. Otherwise, the text objects align to the first object. Aligning Text Objects You can align a text object to the top, bottom, left, right, or center of the image. In addition, you can align objects to other objects. 3. Choose Object | Horizontal Alignment and select one of the following: Use Left Justify Center Justify Right Justify To Align the object with the left edge of the image. Align the object with the center of the image. Align the object with the right edge of the image. To align a text object vertically: 1. In the Toolbar, click the Arrow tool . 2. In the active viewport, or in the Timeline list, click the text object to select it. 3. Choose Object | Vertical Alignment and select one of the following: Use Top Justify Center Justify Bottom Justify To Align the object with the top edge of the image. Align the object with the center of the image. Align the object with the bottom edge of the image. To align a text object horizontally: 1. In the Toolbar, click the Arrow tool . 2. In the active viewport, or in the Timeline list, click the object to select it. Distributing Text Objects Distribute text objects to space them evenly over a specific distance, and along the horizontal or vertical axes.
