Do one of the following: • Right-click the job in the Job queue and choose Change Priority. • In the Jobs menu, choose Jobs | Change Priority, (CTRL+P). • In the Change Job Priority dialog, change the job priority value. The position of the job in the Job queue updates to reflect the change. The top of the Job queue represents the highest priority. To set a job priority to critical: 1. Select the job in the Job queue. 2. Do one of the following: • Right-click the job in the Job queue and choose Change Priority. • In the Jobs menu, choose Jobs | Change Priority, (CTRL+P). • In the Change Job Priority dialog, enable Critical. 3. Select the job in the job queue on the left side of the Monitor window. If the job is suspended, you should activate it. The Priority field becomes unavailable (and the priority is set to 0). The job's status in the Job queue updates, the current jobs in progress are interrupted, and the critical job is rendered first. Note: If you enable Critical for more than one job, the last one set to Critical is rendered first. Archiving Jobs Archive jobs so you can safely clear the job queue of jobs that no longer require rendering. To archive jobs: 1. Select the job in the job queue. 2. Do one of the following: • Right-click the job in the Job queue and choose Archive Job. • In the Jobs menu, choose Jobs | Archive Job. 3. Click Yes to confirm the archive process. The job is archived and removed from the job queue. To restore an archived job: 1. Choose Jobs | Job Archives to open the Job Archives dialog. The Job Archives dialog lists all archived jobs. 2. Select the job archive that you want to restore. 3. Click the Activate Job button. The job is restored and appears in the job queue. Deleting Jobs You can delete jobs from the job queue. It is usually a good idea to archive jobs before deleting them to give yourself the means of restoring the job should you need to render it again. To delete a job from the queue: 1. Select the job in the job queue. 2. Do one of the following: • Click the Delete Job button in the toolbar. • Right-click the job in the Job queue and choose Delete. • In the Jobs menu, choose Jobs | Delete. A confirmation dialog appears because you cannot undo the deletion. 3. Click OK to delete the job. 828

Do one of the following:

Right-click the job in the Job queue and choose

Change Priority.

In the Jobs menu, choose Jobs | Change Priority,

Archiving Jobs

Archive jobs so you can safely clear the job queue of

jobs that no longer require rendering.

To archive jobs:

Select the job in the job queue.

Archive Job.

In the Jobs menu, choose Jobs | Archive Job.

Click Yes to confirm the archive process.

The job is archived and removed from the job

queue.

To restore an archived job:

Choose Jobs | Job Archives to open the Job

Archives dialog.

The Job Archives dialog lists all archived jobs.

Select the job archive that you want to restore.

Click the Activate Job button.

The job is restored and appears in the job queue.

Deleting Jobs

You can delete jobs from the job queue.

It is usually a good idea to archive jobs before
