2 Welcome to Combustion 2. Set the following options as required. Display Brush Outlines-Changes the pointer to an outline that represents the shape and size of the current brush. This option is available for the unfilled drawing tools. project, at minimum. For example, if your project is 640 x 480, set this value to at least 1.2 MB. Note: Global caching in Combustion is separate from the Paint Render Cache, and is not affected by these settings. You can experiment with different Render Cache Size settings. Increase the value if it takes a long time to redraw objects. However, be careful not to set this value too high, as it may interfere with the memory available for rendering effects and other processorintensive actions. Default Object Duration-Sets the duration of the object. Four options are available: 1 Frame, All Frames, Current To End Frame, and Number Of Frames. Flash JPEG Quality-Sets the JPEG quality for export to Adobe Flash files (.swf file format). Display Cross Hairs-Displays crosshairs that span the width of the viewport to indicate cursor position. This option is available for the filled drawing tools. For more information, see "Selecting Drawing Tools" in Chapter 17, "Paint: Drawing Basics''. Render Cache Size-Controls the redraw speed of objects. The size is specified in megabytes, with a default value of 4 MB.
