Using the Info Palette ❚❘❘ show the duration of the source Footage operator because this determines the duration of the operators downstream from it. Setting the Play Mode You can choose how playback behaves when the end of the clip is reached. Click the Play Mode button to cycle through the available modes. Play Mode button Audio On To set the play mode: Do any of the following: • Use Play Once to stop playback when the end of the clip is reached. • Use Loop Play beginning. to repeat the clip from the • Use Ping Pong to play the clip forward, and then backward when it reaches the end. Enable the Audio On button to play audio during playback; disable it to mute audio. For more information, see Chapter 30, "Adding Audio''. Using the Info Palette The Info palette is located across the bottom of the Combustion screen and displays information about the cursor position, current tool, Combustion workspace name, cache, and memory. You can choose which elements to display on the Info palette or hide the palette altogether. To hide the Info palette: Choose Window | Palettes | Hide Info. To customize the Info palette: 1. Right-click the Info palette. 2. Enable the desired options in the context menu. The following options are available. Position-Displays the current X and Y position of the cursor. Color Plot-Displays a color box indicating the current color. Color Values-Displays the RGB values of the current color. Click this area to toggle between integer and percentage values. Error Alert-Displays the warning icon when an error occurs (such as a bit depth or OpenGL conflict). Double-click it to show a list of the error messages. Tool Feedback-Displays information related to the tool currently being used. For example, when you use the Rotate tool, the percentage of rotation for each axis appears in this area. Cache Meter-Displays the total available memory and total amount used for caching. Progress Indicator-Displays an icon that indicates when rendering is in progress. 37
