Enable Overwrite Existing Files if you want the FTP transfer to overwrite files in the target directory that have the same name. 9. Click OK. Sending E-mail after Rendering You can automatically send a notification e-mail after an output is rendered, and you can attach the rendered files to the e-mail. There are three places in the Autodesk Combustion Render Queue dialog with e-mail settings: • In the Render Queue preferences, you set your email address and mail server. There is also a preference to limit the size of file attachments. • On the Global Settings panel, you set the Notification option to send e-mail for all outputs. You also enter the target e-mail address and indicate if log files and rendered files should be attached to the e-mails. • On the Output Settings panel, you indicate if the rendered files should be sent with the e-mail for the selected output. ▲ Combustion does not provide any error message if e-mail notification fails. Make sure all email address and server settings are accurate. To set up e-mail delivery: 1. Click Preferences to display the Render Queue preferences. 2. In the From field, enter your e-mail address. 3. In the Server field, enter the mail server. You must use a valid SMTP server. 4. To limit the total size of the files that are sent with an e-mail, enable Limit Attachment Size To and enter a value (in kilobytes) in the adjacent field. If you enable the Limit Attachment Size To option, the maximum file size is 4096 KB. 5. Click OK. 6. Show the Global Settings panel. 7. In the Main controls, enable Notification. 8. To send an e-mail after each output is rendered, enable Send Email and set up the options as follows. (Otherwise, you can enable Send Email for a specific output and then disable it afterwards.) • In the To field, enter the e-mail address of the recipient. To send mail to multiple recipients, use a comma to separate each e-mail address. • By default, Attach Log is enabled. If you do not want the log file included in the body of the email, disable this option; the e-mail message only includes the status such as "Render Process Finished." • Later, when you render a specific output, you can send the rendered files with the e-mail. To set up e-mail so that this option is possible, enable Attach Preview. Note: The preferences and global settings are saved with Combustion, so your setup is available for all workspaces. To e-mail rendered files with an output: 1. Select an output in the queue. 2. Show the Global Settings panel and make sure Send Email and Attach Preview are enabled. Note: This procedure assumes you already set the Render Queue e-mail preferences (and the To address in the Global Settings panel). 3.
