5 Compositing 4. To change a marker's location, enter a frame number in the Time field. 5. To lock a marker so it cannot be moved, enable Lock. When Lock is enabled, you cannot enter a frame number in the Time field. Note: You can also right-click a marker and select Lock Markers or Unlock Markers to lock or unlock all markers simultaneously. 6. To navigate to the next/previous markers, click the Previous Marker button or press CTRL+SHIFT+M, or click the Next Marker button or press SHIFT+M. Note: When you finish editing the properties of a marker, you can click the Previous Marker button and the Next Marker button to edit the other markers of the selected layer or operator. 7. Once all marker edits are complete, click OK to close the Marker dialog. Transforming Layers You can position layers anywhere in the composite, rotate them around all three axes, and change their size and shape. You can use the tools in the Toolbar to transform the layers or use the Transform controls to obtain precise control. The following sections describe how to use the Transform controls when working with layers. You can also animate any of these changes by adding keyframes in the Timeline or by adding expressions to channels. For detailed information, see Chapter 12, "Creating Animations''and Chapter 13, "Creating Expressions''. To access the Transform controls: 1. Select a layer. 2. Click Transform in the Composite Controls panel. Moving and Rotating Layers You can rotate and move layers along the X, Y, or Z axes to position them in the composite.
