To make more refined modifications, view the samples and modify the clip in the 3D vectorscope. The 3D vectorscope indicates the sampled colors' HLS values. To match specific colors using the color matching controls: 1. Display the clip you want to modify (the result clip) and the clip you want to match to (the reference clip) in two viewports. 2. Select the result clip viewport. 3. In the color matching controls, click the Res button. 4. Pick the color you want to adjust in the result clip. 5. Select the reference clip viewport. 6. Performing Hue Shifts You can use the Hue field in the Basic controls to perform hue shifts on the entire image or a range in the image defined by a selective's matte. Perform hue shifts when you want to change the color of an object or create other artistic effects. Hue shifts do not affect the luma. You can also perform hue shifts when you want to suppress color spill. See Removing Color Spill. To perform a hue shift: 1.
